Marium Rana "A Place to Call Home" Exhibition Reception at Robert F DeCaprio Art Gallery, Moraine Valley Community College

The Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery presents Marium Rana's "A Place to Call Home" at Moraine Valley Community College. This series of paintings depicts the complexity of belonging to two different cultures and trying to make a home from stories of places and moments one has not personally experienced. Rana's paintings depict landscapes that do not exist in the tangible world, lost somewhere between the past and present.

Opening Reception: September 25, 12:30-2 pm, Artist talk 1 pm

Reception is FREE & OPEN to the public!

Exhibition Dates: September 25 - October 28, 2017

This exhibition will continue into the atrium of Moraine Valley Community College, Fine and Performing Arts Center.
