Saint Patricia is a parish that loves its traditions.
One of the longest standing ones is the Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Second Grade First Communicants and the Eighth Grade Graduating Class are major participants of the May Ceremony. A crowning court is chosen from the two classes. The prayer of the rosary is led by the graduates for the parish families and fellow students. The Second Graders lead the procession following the Statue of Mary carried by fathers in the congregation. At the end of the ceremony, scapulars are presented to new communicants as a remembrance.
