Meader hired as Director of Guidance at Stagg High School

Highly qualified, committed and collaborative

The High School District 230 School Board approved the hiring of Kathryn Meader as Director of Guidance at Stagg High School, in light of the retirement of Greg Gornik.

“Kathryn is a highly qualified and committed professional,” said Principal Eric Olsen. “Her knowledge of student academic and social-emotional learning will be an asset as she works collaboratively with Stagg’s guidance office, staff and students. She is a skilled problem-solver who works well with staff, students, parents and the larger community to ensure that students receive the best education to reach their post-high school goals.”

Meader joins District 230 from Lincoln-Way School District 210 where she currently serves as Coordinator of Special Services at its North campus and also served as Coordinator of Student Activities, Dean and Special Services Teacher at its East campus. She also was a Special Services Teacher at Lockport High School.
