Minor Locked Out, Garbage Fire, Stinky Sink: Palos HILLS Blotter

Daughter Locked Out
A Palos Hills woman was charged with neglect of a minor. Police say Stacy Tustin, 41, refused to let her minor daughter back into house around 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 after she left the house. Tustin was issued a local ordinance citation. She has a court hearing on Jan. 9 in Bridgeview.
Garbage Can Fire
Palos Hills police assisted the North Palos Fire Protection District in responding to a fire in eh 10000 block of South Hill Terrace around 11 a.m. Dec. 20. Firefighters put out a fire in a resident’s garbage can.
Stinky Sink
A resident called to report a suspicious circumstance in the 9100 block of North Road around 1 p.m. Dec. 23. Upon arrival, police learned that a sink was backed up and overflowing, causing damage and a foul smell within the building. A plumber was called to repair the sink.
