Online Deal Gone Wrong

Palos Hills police investigated a deceptive practice complaint around 10 p.m. July 18. The resident had arranged the deal using the online app LetGo that allows users to buy and sell used and new products. The resident met the buyer at McDonald’s and was paid for the phones in counterfeit one-hundred dollar bills.

Overdosing Man Revived With Narcan

An man was found unconscious around 9 p.m. July 21 in the 7800 block of 99th Place. Officers quickly administered Narcan to the man, reviving him. The man was taken to Palos Community Hospital for further treatment.
