Palos Heights Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Attempted Burglary

The man attempted to break into a home in Palos Heights last Thursday.

Palos Heights police Monday released a sketch of a suspect in an attempted break-in last week in Palos Heights.

Police were called Thursday around 1 p.m. to the 7700 block of Forest Hill Lane, after a homeowner caught an intruder trying to bust through a bedroom window into his home.

The resident heard a noise coming from the master bedroom, and spotted a white male, in his late teens or early 20s with dark hair, fair skin and a rounded face, who had opened the window and knocked in the screen. The homeowner shouted at the subject, who then fled on foot westbound from the scene. The subject did not make entry into the residence and nothing was taken from the home.
