Palos Heights Police Warn of Daytime Burglaries in Oak Hills
Residents should take extra precautions to avoid falling victim.

Palos Heights police are urging residents to be vigilant, after a burglary in the 7800 block of Golf Drive, and an attempted burglary in the 13300 block of Oak Hills Parkway.
In both cases, a suspect attempted to pry open exterior doors, police said. In the attempted burglary, the homeowner discovered a man, described as Hispanic, attempting to pry open the front door of the home with an unknown tool. The suspect fled the scene when spotted, according to a release from police issued Friday.
Both incidents occurred during daylight hours.
