Palos Hills Community Center Will Offer Indoor Trick-or-Treating
Get out of the wet weather and trick or treat inside at the Palos Hills Community Center. Residents are invited to pass out candy.
PALOS HILLS — Take the raincoats off those Halloween costumes and trick or treat at the Palos Hills Community Center where it’s warm and dry. With rain and snow predicted for Halloween this Thursday, Oct. 31, the city will open the community center for trick or treating from 5 to 7 p.m. This event is for Palos Hills residents only.
Palos Hills esidents are also invited to bring their bowls of candy to the community center and pass out treats to the ghosts, goblins, superheroes and Disney princesses. No other activities are planned, just candy grabbing and treat dispensing inside where it’s dry and cozy.
The number of residents passing out candy cannot be guaranteed, but the parks and recreation department is hoping for a good number. Neighbors wishing to pass out candy are asked to call the community center at 708-430-4500 so that space can be planned accordingly.
