Palos Hills Man Accused of Concealing Woman Wanted on Warrant: Cops

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A Palos Hills man was charged with trying to hide a Bridgeview woman from police who was wanted on active warrant, reports said.

Police responded to a disturbance call around 7 p.m. March 20 to a home at 8500 W. 102nd Terrace, Palos Hills. When officers arrived, Matthew Rooney, 27, reports said he was helping to conceal Angela Atik from police.

Atik, 38, was wanted on an active warrant for criminal trespassing when she allegedly entered a residence without invitation. She appeared in court on March 21.

Rooney was charged with obstructing justice. He has a court hearing April 11 in Bridgeview.
