Palos Hills Man Dies in Early-Morning Accident on Stevenson
Traffic was snarled for more than six hours Thursday morning after a car and dump truck collision in the overnight hours on the Stevenson Expressway.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the driver of a car involved in a fatal accident on the Stevenson Expressway early Thursday morning as 29-year-old Giuseppe Lasorella, of the 11000 block of South Westwood Drive in Palos Hills, the Chicago Tribune is reporting.
Illinois State Police said traffic was rerouted for six hours after the collision between Lasorella's car and a dump truck about 3:45 a.m. The highway was reopened to traffic about 9 a.m.
The dump truck's driver was taken to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. No word on his condition.
