Palos Hills Man Sought In Best Buy Burglary: Warrant
A Palos Hills man is accused of joining two other men in drilling a hole into a Best Buy store and stealing 11 MacBooks.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Police are looking for a Palos Hills man who is alleged to have taken part in a burglary caper in Orland Park. An arrest warrant has been issued for 36-year-old Emil Kozeluh on a burglary charge. Kozeluh remains at large.
Kozeluh is accused of breaking into a Best Buy store in Orland Park along with two other men, Robert Girolimon, 35, of Oak Lawn, and William Debias, 34, of Chicago. Girolimon and Debias appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney last week on felony burglary charges.
Girolimon waited outside the Best Buy at 15854 S. LaGrange Road in Orland Park in the early morning hours of May 20, where he acted as a lookout and getaway driver, the prosecutor said. Surveillance video showed the Ford sedan sitting in the lot between 2:30 and 6 a.m. Debias and a man later identified by police as Kozeluh, cut a hole in the exterior door of the shuttered Arhaus next door to Best Buy, according to the complaint.

Debias and Kozeluh drilled through the drywall inside the vacant business where, Orland Park police said they accessed a back room of the store and took 12 MacBooks valued at $12,358. During the heist, cell phone records indicated that Kozeluh made several calls to Girolimon in the parking lot, the prosecutor said.
The pair left the vacant business carrying drills, ladders and their bounty out to the waiting Ford, the prosecutor said. They drove to a Chicago man's house, where police claim the man purchased one of the stolen MacBooks. The prosecutor said police identified the suspects after a months’ long investigation.

Girolimon and Debias were arrested and charged with burglary Sept. 12. The prosecutor said Debias had past arrests for vehicular hijacking, theft and unlawful use of a weapon.
"There are some issues here that the state will have to prove up the road," Debias's attorney told the judge.
Girolimon was released on a $10,000 I-bond. The judge set Debias's bail at $150,000. A warrant was issued for Kozeluh in the amount of $200,000. Police said he was identified as the third suspect through his car registration. Orland Park police said in a news release that Kozeluh is aware he is a wanted man.
The next court hearing for Girolimon and Debais has been set for Oct. 9 in Bridgeview.
