PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park native Abby Kasch went head-to-head with teammate Jackson Marlow in Monday’s battle rounds on "The Voice." Singing a duet of “Bring in the Rain” by Joe Dee Messina with Tim MGraw, Kasch was able to beat Marlow. Coach Kelly Clarkson named Kasch winner of the battle.

Kasch advanced in the blind auditions last month, where she landed on Team Kelly with her rendition of “Here For The Party.” The 20-year-old Stagg High School graduate is a rising star on the Nashville music scene, where she gigs regularly at Tootsie's World Famous Orchid Lounge and Honky Tonk Central.

As with all "Voice" contestants, Abby is sworn to secrecy about the outcome of the battle round. Live shows with the finalists will start airing in April. You're just going to have to watch "The Voice" to see if she makes it to the finals.
