Palos Park Police Host 'Burgers and Badges' for Residents

PALOS PARK, IL -- Palos Park Police and volunteers will be hosting a “meat” and “greet” with community residents on Friday, July 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. "Burgers and Badges" will be held in the police department parking lot at 8999 W. 123rd St. Residents will have a chance to mingle with Palos Park police officers to talk about public safety issues in the community.

The “meat” (burgers) and “greet” allows residents to physically see the officers who work for them as they do every day, while also emphasizing that police are there to work with community members and not against them.
