Palos Park Police Investigating Head-On Crash, Roads Closed

PALOS PARK, IL -- Palos Park police are investing a head-on crash on 126th Street and Southwest Highway. The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Southwest Highway is closed from 123rd Street to 131st Street.

The vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Southwest Highway. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital. The other driver was treated and released at the scene. An initial investigation indicates that one of the vehicles may have had a malfunction, causing it to swerve in the opposite lane.
