Palos Park Police Offer Birthday Drive-Bys For Residents
Palos Park police are offering birthday drive-bys for quarantined kids and seniors.

PALOS PARK, IL — Do you have a child stuck at home for their birthday? The coronavirus pandemic has caused many families to get creative when it comes to celebrating a birthday at home. The Palos Fire Protection District and Palos Park Police Department are teaming up to host surprise birthday parades for quarantined children.
Contact Chief Joe Miller, of the Palos Park Police Department, by phone at 708-671-3771 or email jmiller@palospark.org. A Palos Park patrol car will cruise by your house with the lights flashing and a few siren bumps and a happy birthday over the public address system. This program is for Palos Park youngsters only. Birthday drive-bys will be scheduled during the afternoon up to 6 p.m.
“We'd really like to make these stay at home birthdays a little more special,” Chief Miller said.
