Palos Park Seeks Comments On Master Plan For Western Area
Palos Park residents' comments are sought at open house Wednesday, Dec. 4 at for the Western Area Master Plan covering newly annexed areas.
PALOS PARK, IL -- Palos Park residents are invited to an open house to view a master plan for the western area of the village. The open house runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Kaptur Administration Center, 8999 W. 123rd St., Palos Park.
The village is preparing a master plan to guide future growth and development in newly annexed areas of Palos Park. Residents comments are sought on a preliminary market study and existing conditions assessment for the western growth master plan.
In December 2017, an appellate court upheld a previous ruling from the Cook County Circuit Court after a lengthy annexation dispute with the city of Lemon,t to annex the Sun Hill subdivision in Palos Park. The ruling also confirmed annexation of golf course properties, including
MidIron and Cog Hill, into Palos Park.
