Palos Park Testing Emergency Sirens Thursday
Maintenance work will include sounding the sirens.

Sirens Palos Park residents might hear Thursday, Feb. 26 will only be a drill.
The Palos Park Emergency Management Team will be performing maintenance on the sirens, which will include some audible testing, police said in an email Tuesday.
There should be no impact on emergency services and notification systems. Residents might hear a short “burp” from the sirens, and should not be alarmed. The techs will “burp” the siren quickly.
