Palos South Celebrates Class of 2015

Palos South Middle School held its commencement service for 207 students in the graduating class of 2015 at Stagg High School on Monday, June 1. The concise, yet meaningful service lasted nearly 50 minutes and featured a dedication song by the Palos South Performing Arts Ensemble, “The Best Day of My Life,” by American Authors. Salutatorian Andrew Demma offered reflections from their years at Palos 118, and Valedictorian Maria DiCristina gave the class address. Other speakers included opening remarks by Student Council President Ashleigh Hughes, and remarks from School Board President John Faustino.  Scholarships and special awards were distributed at a ceremony last month at Palos South.
