Palos South Students Perform Dr. Dolittle Jr.

​Students at Palos School District 118's South Middle School hosted two nights of performances of Dr. Dolittle Jr. over the weekend.

Students at Palos School District 118’s South Middle School hosted two nights of performances of Dr. Dolittle Jr. over the weekend at Stagg High School’s auditorium. This year’s production included close to 80 Palos South students performing, creating sets, serving as stage crew as well as lighting and sound. The lead role of Dr. Dolittle was played by Mia Lewandowski. Eighth grade English language arts teacher Kevin Graham directed with assistance from 7th grade teacher Adam Tourlakes. Palos South Music teacher Amanda Schuller served as Choral Assistant, Band Director Stavros Makropoulos oversaw lights and sound, and teacher Randy Buvala directed the play’s stage crew.
