Palos Students Say ‘Hello’ During Week of Inclusive Activities

Students at Palos School District 118 celebrated Start with Hello Week in September with events aimed at creating a more inclusive school environment.

Students wore green to promote connectedness, changed to a new seat at lunch to meet new friends, planted pinwheels for peace, and took a drone photo with students spelling out ‘hello!’ at Palos South.

Start with Hello week is part of Sandy Hook Promise’s Know the Signs program and teaches students to be more socially inclusive and connected to each other.
