Pizza Guy Suspected Of Pocketing $5K From Food Deliveries: Cops

Managers suspect the employee of canceling food delivery orders and keeping $5,000 in orders, Palos Hills police said.

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A pizza delivery man was arrested after his employer discovered that he had pocketed cash from food deliveries, reports said.

Palos Hills police went to Domino’s Pizza at 10402 S. Harlem Ave., where managers were questioning an employee about a discrepancy in receipts around 2 p.m. June 12. According to the report, managers suspected the employee was keeping the cash from food deliveries and then cancelling orders.

Police said records showed approximately $5,000 had been skimmed since February. The report did not indicate if an arrest had been made.
