PALOS HILLS, IL — The Illinois High School Association is looking into unsportsmanlike conduct during the Stagg-Lockport game on Feb. 19, when a player got slugged, reports said.
Palos Hills police responded to a battery complaint around 5:30 Feb. 19 at Stagg High School after player was apparently hit by another player over a foul call. The Cook County juvenile state’s attorney decided not to prosecute because the IHSA has rules and policies in place concerning unsportsmanlike behavior during games. The IHSA governing board will review the incident.
