Police Evacuate Patrons From Dumpster Fire At Palos Hills Rec Center

PALOS HILLS, IL — Police assisted the North Palos Fire Protection District in evacuating people from a dumpster fire on July 5.

A witness told officers that she observed two juveniles toss firecrackers into the dumpster at the Palos Hills Recreation Center, 8455 W. 103rd St.

Officers helped evacuate patrons while firefighters extinguished the fire.
