Residents Electronically Harassed With Phone Calls And Texts

Palos Hills police investigated two separate incidents of electronic harassment.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police handled calls for two separate incidents of electronic harassment.

Around 6 a.m., Oct. 14, residents said they had been receiving several harassing calls and texts from an ex. The residents’ young son was also getting calls. Officers told the caller to stop or complaints would be signed.

In the second incident, residents said they had been receiving several harassing phone calls from a person they don’t know. Residents told police the caller keeps making false accusations against them. Since they initially contacted police, the calls have become more threatening, reports said. Police are investigating.
