Alleged Drunk Driver Gives Police Hard Time
A man gave police a hard time when he was stopped for suspicion of drunk driving, police reports said. Randy L. Ceaser, 40, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI and resisting arrest by a peace officer.
Palos Heights police saw a vehicle make an improper lane change near 130th Street and Harlem Avenue around 4:34 a.m. July 1. Officers said Ceaser appeared intoxicated. Subsequent investigation showed that Ceaser was driving on a suspended license and had no proof of insurance. When officers went to arrest Ceaser he actively resisted them, police said.
Ceaser was released on a $3,000 bond. He is due in court Aug. 7 in Bridgeview.

Interference With Child Visitation
Palos Heights police cited an Oswego woman for unlawful visitation interference. According to reports, Hilary J. Sowa, 34, was supposed to meet for a custody exchange on June 30, but failed to arrive by the court prescribed time. She was released on an I-bond. Sowa is due in court Aug. 21.
Alcohol Heist
Palos Heights police stopped for Chicagoans in traffic shortly after midnight June 24 after they had allegedly heisted six bottles of alcohol from Jewel-Osco. The four charged with retail theft include:

The four were released on $150 bond. Their next court date is July 14 in Bridgeview.
