Restaurant Owner Socked, Packages Pilfered from Porch: Palos HILLS Blotter

Unhappy Customer

A customer unhappy with his food order slugged the restaurant owner. Palos Hills police responded to Al-Sufara Grill, 7215 W. 103rd St. for a battery complaint around 9:30 p.m. May 30. The owner told police that a customer struck him when his food order came out wrong. Police said the owner did not wish to press charges and signed a waiver of liability.

Wallet and Packages Pilfered

A thief took a wallet from car and pilfered packages left on a porch in the 7900 block of 105th St. sometime before 8:30 a.m. June 1.

Laptop Swiped from Car

A backpack containing a laptop computer was swiped from a car in the 10400 block of Tod Driver sometime before 6 p.m. June 2. Police said the car window was left open.
