Road Closures Announced For Autumn In The Park

PALOS PARK, IL — The Palos Park Police Department has announced road closures for Autumn In The Park festivities on Saturday, Sept. 18.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 123rd street (McCarthy Road) will be closed between 96th Avenue (Rt45) and 80th Avenue for the Palos Park Parade and Chili Cook Off, which will be on the Village Green at 8901 W 123rd street.

Alternative routes for east and west traffic will be Rt 83, 119th street and 131st Street.

North and south streets: 80th Avenue open, 86th Avenue closed; 87th and 88th Avenues closed at 123rd; 81st, 82nd, 83rd, Mohawk, and 93rd Avenue closed at 123rd as well.

Plan to come out enjoy the parade and all the festivities on the village green too. The parade starts at 11 a.m.
