Rubio hired as Special Services Director for Stagg High School
Joins D230 from Glenbard East HS

At its meeting Thursday night, the District 230 School Board approved the hiring of Gail Rubio as Special Services Director for Stagg High School.
Rubio joins District 230 from Glenbard East High School where she serves as Special Education Department Chair. Rubio also brings to Stagg High School experience as an administrator for pupil personnel services at Cook County School District 130 and a special education teacher in Chicago Public Schools and Eisenhower High School in District 218.
Rubio earned a Director of Special Education Endorsement from the University of St. Francis, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Benedictine University.

“Gail Rubio brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in special education, adding value to our administrative team at Stagg,” said Principal Eric Olsen. “Her expertise and experience in special education as a support professional, educator and administrator will allow her to provide the necessary supports and leadership that will assist our staff in providing the very best education to our students with special needs.
