One glance outside, and you might be glad the kids are home today. Blowing snow has moved into parts of northern Illinois from the west, according to the National Weather Service, and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.
South suburban school districts are making the call on how to proceed with Friday’s school day. Some will re-open, with administrators advising parents to bundle up their kids for a cold day ahead.
