Shepard Varsity Cheerleaders Win SSC Championship

Last weekend, the varsity cheerleading team from Shepard High School won the South Suburban Conference championship at Oak Forest High School.

Coached by Nicole Staehlin-Laricy, the Astros won their third tournament title. Earlier this season, the team won championships at Northern Illinois University and Joliet West High School.

Next weekend, Shepard competes at the IHSA sectional at Joliet West.
