Small Pistol Stolen in Burglary, Last Call Fighting, Cash Stolen: PALOS HILLS BLOTTER

Cash Stolen from Business
Someone burglarized Selma’s Sweets, 7205 W. 103rd St. sometime before 10:30 p.m. April 10. The front glass window was broken and cash was reported stolen.
Last Call Fighting
Two men were charged with fighting at closing time at Durbin’s, 10154 S. Roberts Road. Police were called to the restaurant and bar around 2 a.m. April 7.
Adam McFarland, 37, of Worth, and Steven Witkus, 39, of Oak Lawn, were both charged with battery. McFarland was also charged with resisting a peace officer. Both had apparently started fighting with police officers after being told to leave the bar.

The two men are due in court May 18 in Bridgeview.
Small Pistol Stolen
Police responded to a burglary in the area of 111th Street and Cove Circle where there was damage to the home’s front door.

The homeowner had returned from the store around 1:30 p.m. April 5, when he noticed damage to his door. Inside the house, he discovered the burglar had swiped a 5-gallon bottle of change along with a small pistol.
