Stagg Drama Club Presents 'Enter Laughing,' Nov. 2 through Nov. 4
The Stagg High School Drama Club hits the boards Nov. 2-4 with a play based on TV funnyman Carl Reiner's semi-autobiographical novel.

PALOS HILLS – The Stagg High School Drama Club will hit the boards with its fall play, “Enter Laughing” by Joseph Stein. Performances are 7 p.m. Nov. 2, Nov. 3 and Nov. 4 in Stagg’s Performing Arts Center, 8015 W. 111th St., Palos Hills.
“Enter Laughing” is a farce in two acts set in 1930s New York City, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Carl Reiner. The action centers on the journey of young aspiring actor David Kolowitz as he tries to extricate himself from overly protective parents – who would prefer he become a pharmacist and get married. Kolowitz has two too many girlfriends and a serious lack of talent that make his life challenging.
Tickets cost $6 for adults, $5 for students and $3 for senior citizens and children. Tickets will sold at the door for all three performances.The box office, which is inside near Stagg’s front entrance, opens at 6:30 p.m. Tickets also will be sold during lunch hours through Nov. 1 in the Stagg Commons.
