Stagg High School PTO hosts upcoming events

Monthly meetings, Media Center event, and Culver's Night

Stagg High School PTO meetings will be at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month except December. Meeting dates are November 17, January 19, February 16, March 16, and April 20. For more information, email StaggPTO@gmail.com. During meetings, a Stagg administrator gives a short report on past and future activities and listens to questions and concerns from parents. Each month features a special
speaker, and parents are invited to suggest topics.

Stagg PTO is open to anyone with a connection to Stagg, especially parents, staff and faculty, interested in working together to build relationships and promote positive change. It’s a great way for parents to get involved. The PTO also offers scholarship opportunities to senior students of members. In addition, it oversees the planning and volunteers for the senior party in May. Membership costs $15 per family.

Learn about Media Center’s Resources

Would you be surprised to learn your student can get help from tutors and print papers in Stagg’s media center? Parents are invited to learn about these and other services provided by the media center, its staff and student volunteers. They can do so at the meeting on Thursday, October 20 at 6:30 p.m., in the Media
Center. This meeting is hosted by Stagg’s parent booster organization, newly renamed the Stagg Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). In addition, a member of the administration will give an update on recent school news, and information will be provided about new earlier deadlines for the FAFSA, which must be filled out before families can apply for financial aid for college.
