Stagg High School students pack meals at Feed My Starving Children

Culinary Club and Key Club partner to make a difference

A group of Stagg High School Culinary Club and Key Club students assisted at Feed My Starving Children, located in Schaumburg. After enjoying a pizza party provided by the Culinary Club, the group put aside several hours of their Tuesday evening to give back to others less fortunate.

These students worked together in teams, met other volunteers, and enjoyed a successful evening packing boxes of food for Jamaica. The group was able to pack a total of 138 boxes. This amount translates to 29,808 meals that will be used to feed 81 children for a year.

Feed My Staving Children allows volunteers of all ages to hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. These packed meals have reached nearly 70 countries around the world. The students were enthusiastic and helpful and are looking forward to taking part in this wonderful activity again.
