The District 230 School Board recognized the Stagg High School Unified Special Olympics Volleyball Team recently captured the State Championship at the State Fall Games. The Chargers were the last team standing without a defeat in the tournament. The State Champion Team consisted of Unified Partners: Cassidy Jewula, Josh Pappas, Ginni Bouck and Lauren Dytrych and Special Olympians Mohammad Hamed, Mustafa Hamed, Carlene Mani, Hala Ali and Sarah Gehle. Congrats to coaches Abby Degliomini, Mary Swanson, and Tom Syska.
