Stagg High School will “Go for the Gold” this Homecoming.
Student Council is off to a great start and the Executive Board and Class Officers have already begun plans to make it a great year for the student body. Spirit Week for Homecoming 2016 is September 26 through the 31st and this year’s theme is Olympics. Students can show their spirit and join the fun by participating in the themed Spirit Days, as follows: America Monday, Tacky Tourist Tuesday, Workout Wednesday, Teacher/Student Switch Day, and sport your Orange and Blue on Charger Pride Friday for the Assembly.
The Stagg Chargers Football team will take on Thornridge at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 31. To close the week off, the Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, October 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. The cost of a ticket is $20 per person and can be purchased during lunch hours of Homecoming week.

Members of Student Council are responsible for coordinating all dances, luncheons, spirit weeks, and assemblies throughout the school year. Any Freshman interested in joining should contact Student Council Sponsor, Ms. Marinello or the Freshmen Class Council Sponsor, Mrs. Baniewicz.
