Stagg HS hosts Marching Band Jamboree

21 bands take the field

Stagg High School hosted its annual Marching Band Jamboree on Saturday with 21 bands taking the field.

Romeoville High School was named Grand Champion.

In Field 1A, Wheaton North took top honors along with best music, visual, percussion and drum major. Hersher High School placed second. Evergreen Park High School took third place and best auxiliary.

In Field 2A, Waubonsie Valley High School took top honors as well as best music, visual, percussion and auxiliary. Glenbard West High School placed second and Argo High School took third place. Waukegan High School took home honors for best drum majors.

In Field 3A, Romeoville High School took top honors along with best music and percussion. Batavia High School placed second and took home the best visual and auxiliary honors. Joliet West High School placed third.

As the host school, the Stagg Marching Chargers performed in exhibition.
