Grown Man Picks On Teen

A Hickory Halls man was arrested after he threatened a Stagg High School student, police said. William Evans, 53, was charged with aggravated assault and battery. The report did not indicate if the man and student knew each other.

Palos Hills police responded to Stagg High School around 3:45 p.m. June 29. According to the report, Evans approached a male student and threatened him with a baseball bat. Williams ended up knocking the student’s hat off instead and walked away.

Making Movie Magic

Police investigated a bunch of kids causing a disturbance on Deerpath Lane around 8 p.m. June 30. When officers arrived on the scene, they found several juveniles with a BB gun. The kids told police they were filming a YouTube video and that the BB gun was a prop.
