Angry Caller Threatens American Express, Government
Police spoke to a resident around 2 p.m. July 21, who is a call taker for American Express. According to the call taker, the customer became upset with some of the company’s policies and procedures. The caller allegedly threatened the call taker, as well as the government and American Express. Police said the customer is from California.
Toilet and Bathtub Swiped from Home
Someone swiped all the copper piping and other bathroom fixtures from a home in the 10200 block of South 82nd Avenue sometime before 1:30 p.m. July 19. Officers learned that the home was unoccupied. The thieves removed the bathtub, toilet and vanity, in addition to the copper piping.
Harmless Act
Police went to the 11200 block of Roberts Road around 4:30 p.m. July 18. According to the complaint, police learned that a person in a car offered a kid some candy. After speaking to all the involved parties, officers learned the candy-offerer is friendly with all the neighbors and that it was a “harmless act.”

Stinky Shoplifters
Three people went into the Walgreens store at 11053 Southwest Highway around 5 p.m. July 17. Police said the individuals distracted employees while another stole a bottle of Jack Daniels and air fresheners.
