Strolling In The Nude, 'Cheaters': Palos Hills Blotter

A roundup of Palos Hills police reports from March 15 through March 16.

'Cheaters'

An Oak Lawn man was arrested after police found him carrying brass knuckles. Branden Balek, 29, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Residents reported a suspicious person in the 10300 block of 84th Avenue around 1 a.m. March 15, police said. Balek allegedly told police he was trying to catch his girlfriend with another man. He is due in court April 4 in Bridgeview.

Strolling in the Nude

A man was spotted strolling in the nude through a Palos Hills apartment complex on March 16, police reports said. Employees were cleaning the common areas of Scenic Tree apartments around 11 a.m. when a man not wearing any clothes walked to the area where they were cleaning. Employees told police the man didn’t say a word. The man apparently went back into a unit.

These incidents were listed among the official reports of the Palos Hills Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by the police does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can determine whether an offender is guilty or not guilty of the offense with which he or she has been charged.
