Student Work On View At Moraine Valley Juried Art Exhibit
A juried art show featuring works by Moraine Valley students opens April 25 with a reception and runs through May 17.

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A juried exhibition featuring works by Moraine Valley students will open with a reception April 25 at the Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery in the college’s Fine and Performing Arts Center at 9000 College Parkway, Palos Hills. The reception runs from 2:30 to 4 p.m., with awards handed out at 3 p.m.
The juried selection of student work from Moraine Valley students shows the college’s emerging artistic talents. The exhibit, which runs through May 17, showcases work across many media, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and design. Included in the atrium exhibition are the student art works, as well as designs for the exhibition poster and postcard competition.
The DeCaprio art gallery is a meeting ground for students, local community members and the contemporary art world following a mission to present significant works through exhibitions and programming by local, national and international artists.
