Take the Palos Park Police 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey
Citizens and businesses are invited to take the Palos Park Police Department citizens' satisfaction survey to help police improve services.

PALOS PARK, IL -- The Palos Park Police Department invites residents and businesses to take the online 2018 Citizens Survey. The goal of the survey is to solicit opinions and recommendations on how well the department is meeting the residents’ needs and expectations. The survey will be available on the police website through April 16.
Citizens will be asked various questions on public safety in Palos Park. Responses will be compared to past years to determine if services have gotten better or need improvement, including:
- How safe do you feel in Palos Park?
- Did the officer respond to your call in a timely manner and was he/she courteous?
- Was the status of your case adequately explained to you?
- How would you rate the officer's knowledge/competence in addressing the problem?
The survey will also explore first contact point of a 911 call. Southwest Central Dispatch will be queried as well on such as issues reaching the dispatcher, whether the dispater was courteous or helpful. Finally, citizens will be asked to gauge the overall performance of the Palos Park Police Department. Citizens’ responses will help the police department address areas that need improvement over the next year. Take the online survey.
