Teen Patient Charged With Beating Up Nurse: Police

SUNDAY, MAY 17
DUI
Davaughn G. Burton-Ashley, 23, of the 12500 block of South Princeton Street, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and improper lane use after a traffic stop in the 6800 block of West 127th Street, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police pulled over Burton-Ashley at about 3:55 a.m. after seeing him driving over the lane lines, the report stated. During the stop, Burton-Ashley appeared intoxicated, and he failed field sobriety tests at the scene, the report added.
Burton-Ashley was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is June 30.

SATURDAY, MAY 16
DUI
Mari Nelson, 50, of the 10300 block of South Mason Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after a traffic stop in the 7600 block of West College Drive, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police clocked Nelson at about 2:27 a.m., going 51 mph in a 35-mph zone, the report stated. Nelson failed field sobriety tests at the scene, the report added.
Nelson was held on $3,000 bond, and her court date is June 2.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 13
Battery
Brian D. Seale, 18, of the 14400 block of Valley View Drive, Orland Park, was arrested and charged with battery after an incident at Palos Community Hospital, 12251 S. 80th Ave., according to Palos Heights police reports.
Seale is accused of beating up a nurse while he was a patient at the hospital, the report stated. No details were given in the report about why Seale attacked the nurse.
Seale was held on $1,500 bond, and his court date is June 30.
