Video: Thanksgiving at Shepard
Now in its third decade, our food drive feeds hundreds (special thanks to Jewel and Dollar Deals for their help this year.

For more than three decades, students, staff and parents at Shepard High School have worked to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for local needy families.
The Jerry Lemon Needy Family Food Drive, which feeds hundreds, this year also received some extra help from Dollar Deals in Crestwood and the Jewel Food Store in Palos Heights.
On Tuesday, Shepard students and staff delivered food to those without transportation. Today, families will come to Shepard to pick up turkey dinners and boxed and canned goods.
