Thieves Rip Off Unlocked, Running Vehicle from Palos Heights Gas Station
Thieves entered unlocked vehicle that was left running in front of the Shell station, Palos Hills police said.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- Thieves ripped off a vehicle that was left unlocked and running in front of a gas station in Palos Hills, reports said.
Palos Hills police responded to the Shell Station at 10300 S. Harlem Ave. around 1 a.m. Feb. 2 for a reported car theft. When they arrived, officers learned that someone entered an locked vehicle that was left running while the owner was inside the gas station.
The thieves drove the vehicle away in an unknown direction. The car was later found abandoned in Chicago.
