Tokin’ At Dunkin
Abdulrahman Aduib, 27, of Bridgeview, was arrested when Palos Hills police found him allegedly smoking cannabis while parked in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot at 10340 S. Harlem Ave. Officers noticed smoke coming out of the car around 5 p.m. Sept. 22. Reports said over 30 grams of cannabis was recovered from the vehicle. Aduib is charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Aduib’s next court date is Nov. 11 in Bridgeview.
Ebay Car Ripoff
Palos Hills police took a report from some residents complaining that they had sent $1,000 for a downpayment of car purchased on Ebay. The residents found out that the transaction was fraudulent.
Car Burglar Steals Pain Meds
A burglar removed several items from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 10500 block of 75th Street sometime before 5 a.m. Sept. 21. The owner reported a radar detector, pain medication, cash and a pair of boots were stolen.
