Video: iPads transforming D218 classrooms

In the first few seconds of this video, English teacher Dana Heslin -- she works at Eisenhower High School, but this feature reflects what's happening everywhere in D218 -- summarizes her feelings about teaching with iPads.

"I dread ever having to go back to the pen and paper method," she said.

First, she's not; second, that's a quote from a teacher with only a few months of experience using the iPad as a tool (as you listen and watch, it's clear that she's already a maestro.)

"Learning is more meaningful and the possibilities are endless when it comes to providing a multitude of resources for students to further their understanding," she said.

Her class looks and sounds like none other.
