Wilmer “Mick” McClay

WWII Veteran of the Army Air Corps – Sergeant, Fighting 69th Infantry, Cryptographer, 393rd Atomic Bomber Squadron Tinian,

Passed away peacefully on July 17th 2016. Beloved husband of the late Katheryn (nee Stigler). Loving father of Michael (Martha) McClay, late Patrick McClay, James (Jacquelyn) McClay, Pamela (Tom) Benson & Steve (Irma) Meenahan. Proud grandfather of Kerry (Brooke), James (Mitsuri), Leah (Scott), Emily (Chris) & Ana (Dustin). Cherished great grandfather of Sloan, Zai & future Baby Coates. Dear uncle and lifelong friend of many.

Memorial Visitation Friday, August 5th from 4 p.m. until time of
Memorial Service with Military Honors 5 p.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home,
7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.

Funeral services & Interment will be private.
