Woman Charged With Driving Under Influence Of Xanax
Orland Park woman crashed into fence at drive-thru, then drove off without paying for food while child was in car, Palos Hills police said.
PALOS HILLS, IL — An Orland Park woman is charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of property damage, reports said. Megan Connor, 35, was also charged with driving without insurance, child endangerment and two counts of criminal damage to property,
Around 1 a.m. May 12, police said Conner ordered food from the drive-thru at Pita
Palafal, 10348 S. Harlem Ave., Palos Hills. Connor hit a fence, took the food without paying, and left the area, reports said.
Officers stopped Connor moments later, who allegedly admitted that she was driving under the influence of Xanax while her child was inside the car, according to the report. While at the Palos Hills station, police said Connor damaged the smoke alarm and light fixture inside her cell, reports said.

Connor is due in court June 4 in Bridgeview.
