Worth Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Second Child

Already facing a child sex abuse charge in Palos Heights, a man is accused of fondling a second child in Palos Hills.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A 73-year-old Worth was arrested a second time on charges of sexually assaulting a child, Palos Hills police said. Louis Maniatis appeared in court on Feb. 21 after being charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault.

Maniatis is accused of feeling the chest of a 12-year-old girl. Police said the girl, who is older now, came forward after reading about Maniatis being arrested in Palos Heights for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child under 13.
